She has a storytelling style of writing, and her songs range from diary entries to musings about life. Her music is hard to classify in a single genre as she weaves folk, grunge, soul, and outlaw country throughout her discography. She is known for her clever lyrics, unique playing style, and powerhouse vocals.
Taylor has been writing her own songs and playing music now for a little over three years. She started doing this when the world was on lockdown and her work was closed. She is a classically trained opera singer, but decided not to pursue that career after college, and took about ten years off from playing any kind of music at all. The songs she writes deal with heartbreak and loss, love and pain, mixed with a soulful country sound, all played on her ukulele.
